Is the new Federal CAN-SPAM law enough?
President Bush signed the CAN-SPAM act into Law on December 16th. But, will it help? Or will it actually make some SPAM legal?

If the Federal CAN-SPAM law is not passed, California has an alternative. But according to some, this law could end up costing innocent companies money for non-SPAM email messages. The law does not appear to put a clear definition on the word SPAM, and leaves it up to lawyers to decide.

It looks like the controversial CAN-SPAM act is on it's way to the White House for the President's signature. While it would be nice to hope that it will stop all the junk email being sent to your inbox, many say it doesn't go far enough.
